Womxn’s March Denver: Connecting and Healing through Covid-19

July 15 @ 7:00 pm

Womxn’s March Denver and Dr. Rohini Gupta of the Trauma & Disaster Recovery Clinic is offering community resilience conversations to address the impacts of COVID-19. On July 15th the topic will be managing uncertainty and developing resilience. Local poet and activist Bianca Mikahn will capture perspectives from participants to create a spoken word piece to share.

With the challenges of current events around systemic racism and social justice, individuals and communities affected by COVID-19 are socially, economically, and emotionally stressed. Join us to discuss various topics related to COVID-19 such as isolation, uncertainty, and disparities related to this pandemic.

These conversations provide an opportunity to discuss challenges and successes during this time while connecting with each other as a way to support and build resilience. Participants are encouraged to share ideas and strategies for coping during the pandemic. Monthly meetings will occur over Zoom on the third Wednesdays of the month.
