The Supernova International Ska Festival is the largest festival dedicated to ska music in the United States. The 2021 festival will be its biggest festival yet with nearly 40 bands and 30 hours of ska including Hepcat, The Skatalites, The Slackers, The Pietasters, Buck-O-Nine, Mustard Plug, The Toasters, Bim Skala Bim, The Skunks, Chris Murray, Mephiskapheles, and many more. The festival will take place on September 17-19 and will be held at the Oozlefinch Brewery at historic Fort Monroe, Virginia on the banks of the Chesapeake Bay.
Friday, September 17 bands include the Pilfers, Half Past Two, Dr. Ring Ding, King Django, Mr Kingpin, Danny Rebel and the KBG, The Dendrites, The Players Band, and Sammy Kay and the Fast Four.
Saturday, September 18 bands include The Skatalites, The Slackers, Buck-O-Nine, Bim Skala Bim, Mustard Plug, Mephiskapheles, J. Navarro and the Traitors, Catbite, Stop the Presses, Bowcat, Thirteen Towers, and DJ JonQuan.
Sunday, September 19 bands include Hepcat, The Pietasters, The Slackers, Hub City Stompers, The Toasters, The Skunks, Chris Murray, Eastern Standard Time, Adhesivo, Flymo and the Vershons, The Scotch Bonnets, The Loving Paupers, Matamoska, Some Ska Band, and Roger Rivas.
