Reclaiming Native American Food Traditions

Does Native American food culture interest you? On Sat., Oct. 10th, join the Flatirons Food Film Festival, First Nations Development Institute, College of Media, Communication and Information at CU-Boulder (CMCI), and Slow Food Boulder County for a virtual fundraiser that will present a Native American chef’s demo at 5:30pm and film program at 7pm with Gather, a documentary about Native Americans reclaiming their food heritage. A panel discussion and Q&A will follow. Viewers can pre-order dinner from Tocabe, a Native American restaurant, to eat while watching the film. Proceeds to benefit the Festival and First Nations.
