Metropolitan Jazz Orchestra
February 27 @ 6:30 pm

The Metropolitan Jazz Orchestra, Inc. (MJO) is an 18-piece jazz orchestra (“big band”) formed in Jan 2002.
MJO performed twice each month at Dazzle Jazz Club for our “MJO Presents” high school program where we shared the stage with 70+ high school jazz ensembles over a period of twelve years. Additionally, our Guest Artist Program brought professional jazz talent to Denver for clinics and concerts over that same period of time.
As a performing organization, MJO has garnered a substantial following and play all styles of big band jazz including classic swing, contemporary big band jazz, Latin, and rock. MJO is known for the extensive repertoire we can perform from every era and every style.
MJO performs in and around Denver for various events including concerts, fairs, benefits/galas, weddings, school functions and holiday programs.
