After 3 years of studio recording, Los Cheesies are finally ready to throw a big party and show off their 2nd album release, ” Smoking Time”

LOS CHEESIES is an insanely wild, high-energy band of both gringos and Latinos, uniting to deliver a unique and super fun, comical, and upbeat style to both our English and Spanish-speaking friends. OUR FOUR PART HARMONY VOCALS, SHREDDING GUITARS AND HORN SECTION WILL BLOW YOUR MIND!!! 9 years of performing and songwriting together has established LOS CHEESIES as one of the most powerful and unique show experiences in Colorado. You’ll find yourself humming our original Fusion Rock and Roll, Ska, Reggae, Rap, and Psychedelic Rock tunes when you wake in the middle of the night… and laughing at our “Weird Al Yankovic” / Cheesie-fied hits from the 80’s and 90’s! LOS CHEESIES’ first album “QUÉWHAT?” in 2016, and are preparing to release the second album “Smoking Time” at Roots Music Project this Cinco de Mayo.

Boulder Colorado’s longest-running champions of high-energy, authentic funk and soul music, The Pamlico Sound are known for their original, contemporary songs and performances, while drawing inspiration from classic legends like Sly & The Family Stone and Parliament Funkadelic. The joyful interplay between band and audience combine to create the “Jive Church”: a non-religious, theatrical/interactive experience inspired by the Black Baptist churches of the south—with everyone moving, shouting and shaking in a celebration of the uplifting power of Pure Funk’n Soul.
