Heathers: The Musical

Join the Arts HUB for this wickedly funny dark comedy about the price of popularity and the true nature of friendship! When Veronica Sawyer joins the Heathers–the cruel clique of girls that rules Westerberg High School–she thinks her dreams of popularity may have finally come true. But being in the Heathers’ elite and exclusive club means bullying the same kids she once called friends. It takes the influence of the mysterious (and attractive!) new kid JD for Veronica to question her loyalty to the terrifying leader of her clique, Heather Chandler. But when Heather Chandler is accidentally poisoned, JD convinces Veronica to stage her suicide, and the social strata of Westerberg High are rocked as the remaining Heathers vie for power. Together, JD and Veronica vow to bring down the oppressive elite once and for all.
The Arts HUB Emerging Artists is an incubator program designed to foster new theatrical talent in the Front Range. Synthesis Theater Company aims to present underrepresented shows which express the voices of the younger generations in a space that promotes togetherness and unity.
