Haunted Motown Prom!
October 30 @ 6:30 pm
Roots Music Project, a non-profit music incubator, is proud to announce a special Halloween Motown Prom. Ain’t No Mountain High Enough (A Motown Stax Revue featuring Hazel Miller on vocals.) is an 8-piece band based out of Boulder, CO that only plays songs by Motown and Stax Records. The band stays true to the classic instruments, arrangements, and vibe of the original songs but also veers off into something that is fresh and relevant for 2021.
Doors open at 6:30 pm. Show at 7:30 pm
It’s Prom Night in 1960’s Boulder, Colorado and the building is haunted with the music of Motown and Stax Records. Journey back in time and enjoy Prom with your new crush, or crash the party as a ghost, ghoul, or some other costumed persona who can’t resist the call of classic soul.
Dress up, sing, and dance to these classic songs – the night is haunted but the dance floor is alive!
All ages. Cash bar. Tickets at RMPTix.com
Everyone from grandparents to teenagers can get something from the live show – everyone can sing, dance, or watch – and leave knowing in their body and hearts that it was a good time.
These songs bring an undeniable feel-good vibe – the band helps recreate that in real-time in 2021.
