Frequent Flyers Aerial Dance: Because the Sky is Blue
September 10 @ 7:00 pm
7:00pm/7:30pm/8:00pm (staggered start times to accommodate social distancing)
Join us as we celebrate the launch of our Fall programming with a special performance by the nationally acclaimed aerial dance company, Frequent Flyers. Drawing inspiration from the Museum’s “Terry Maker’: Because the World is Round” exhibition, Frequent Flyers has tailored-made this site-specific performance especially for the museum. Beginning in our Atrium, then moving into our classrooms and ending in our courtyard, the performance will consist of three 15 minute performances through which 3 groups of 50-audience members each will be led. Come early and enjoy free admission to “Terry Maker: Because the World is Round” before it closes!
Audience will be seated and staff will insure ample room for social distancing. All are required to wear masks for the duration, including our performers and tech staff. Learn more at www.longmontmuseum.org or call 303-651-8374.
