Community Resilience Conversations: Connecting + Healing through COVID-19
August 19 @ 7:00 pm
Womxn’s March Denver and Dr. Rohini Gupta of the Trauma & Disaster Recovery Clinic is offering community resilience conversations to address the impacts of COVID-19. With the challenges of current events, individuals and communities affected by COVID-19 are socially, economically, and emotionally stressed at many levels.
Join us on Wednesday, August 19th to discuss issues such as isolation, uncertainty, and disparities related to this pandemic. These conversations provide an opportunity to discuss challenges and successes during this time while connecting with each other as a way to support and build resilience.
Participants are encouraged to share ideas and strategies for coping during the pandemic. Monthly meetings will occur over Zoom and registrants will receive details in advance for the call.
“Healing is a process, not a project. In sharing one another’s perspectives, we can better understand, cope, and heal not only in the context of COVID-19, but work with issues on the frontlines of racism,” said Dr. Gupta.
