Camilla Vaitaitis Quartet

Camilla Vaitaitis is a pianist, vocalist, and composer born and raised in Colorado. After completing her Master’s degree in Jazz Composition at the Lamont School of Music in 2020, Vaitaitis delved into writing a large catalogue of original small group music. Excited to workshop these tunes, she called upon musicians she deeply admired & trusted and the Camilla Vaitaitis Quartet was born.

This group performs unique, emotional, original jazz. Drawing from Vaitaitis’ wide pool of influences ranging from indie music, to contemporary jazz, to psychedelic rock, each composition has its own distinctive character and environment. Taylor Clay, Patrick McDevitt, and Kevin Matthews bring these tunes to life in performances full of spontaneity, groove, and a deep sense of band communication.
