Boulder’s Story Slam

March 29 @ 7:00 pm

Ready for a laugh-inducing, edge-of-your-seat, heart-opening night of stories, where you or the person next to you could take home the prize for best story?
We’ll bring a hat (for you to put your name in), the theme, some music, and a microphone.
You bring the stories. There will be a time limit (5 minutes) and a winner. (That’s right — competitive storytelling. The audience votes for the best story.)
So lean in, open your heart, grab a friend, and show up to share (or just listen to) some stories!
The theme for the night is CAMP. Was your first camping trip interrupted by a bear? Did you lose your rubber gloves at the Rocky Horror Picture Show? Did you camp out in the parking lot so you could be first in line on Black Friday? Come put your name in the hat and tell us about it!
If you don’t want the mic this time, just come listen to a great night of storytelling.
Hosted by Johanna Walker, co-producer of Truth Be Told, a previous version of Boulder’s story slam. Co-hosted by Macy Matarazzo, unicorn love coach, lover of camp, love stories and love stories from camp. With guest musician, Kevin Packard, a multi instrumentalist who has been composing music for Television, Dance & Theater for over 30 years.
