A Vaccine for COVID-19? A Presentation by Dr. Peter Marks of the FDA
October 6 @ 4:00 pm - 5:00 pm
Dr. Peter Marks might be the man who holds the fate of the coronavirus vaccine in his hands. Dr. Marks is the director of the Center for Biologics Evaluation and Research (CBER) at the Food and Drug Administration. In the coming months, he will likely be the one who decides when and whether a coronavirus vaccine is safe and effective enough for the American public. He will join us via Zoom to discuss a vaccine for COVID-19 and respond to questions. His talk, sponsored by the Sustainability Committee of CU’s Program for Writing and Rhetoric, is free and open to the public.
